| My life has been touched by so many people who have meant so much. I can not begin to name them all. On the other hand, I can talk about the pups of my life…. | ||

This is me with my sister circa ~ 1967
| This is me with my first pup, Noodles. I had a book about Lassie, where the ‘other’ dog was named noodles (it was dachshund). When I got my first dog, a much anticipated event, and she was a collie mix, I couldn’t name her Lassie (everyone did that) so, she became Noodles.
(NOTE: I still name my dogs this way. Frequently it’s an uncommon connection to something only I connect) |

This is me with my grandma. She was the strongest person I ever met (and I don’t mean her benchpress).
| In 1972 my future brother-in-law gave my sister a cat. They named her Sammy. I loved that cat! At the same time I had a dog, Snoopy. She was a mutt who just appeared at our house. My dad said she was an old dog.
Snoopy came to us when I was in first grade and she left us while I was in college. I have yet to locate a photo of her. She was you basic small brown dog. She was run over by a cat at least three times in her life (twice by my mom’s friend Mary Kiser); she dies of old age. |

| Franklyn Alexander was the dog who changed the course of our lives. The foster dog who ‘could not stay’ he was an adored baby for 8 years. His death from topical pesticides (AKA flea treatment) changed our world. | ![]() |

This is Franklyn with George Hincapie our long time foster dog. George was abused when he came to us and very distrusting of humans. He learned love and trust in our home.
|
This is Wrigley Stonewall Rebel. He is currently an only child.
